On reading the note, the door in front of you opens revealing a stairwell. Once at the top you emerge into a burning room containing large toys blocked off by dressing screens. In the middle of it all is a brightly colored bed with the option to sleep in it. If you've thoroughly completed Fable II then you will understand the significance behind this. After sleeping in the bed you are transported to a spooky grassland with a large chessboard atop.
There are two rows of chess pieces on both sides of the board and sitting in the middle is Chesty. Speak to him to start a game of chess. Chesty is not a particularly good player, so he can be defeated by a simple strategy like Scholar's Mate.
Approach the chest on the chessboard and attempt to open it. Chesty will challenge you to a game of chess -- but fear not! You won't have to beat him, or even play chess for more than five minutes phew. After about four moves, Chesty will destroy the game. Approach Chesty again and he'll describe a new game. Destroy the Hobbes the "pawns" in the first wave of Chesty's challenge by charging a magic attack early and unleashing it as soon as they crowd you.
Talk to Chesty again and he'll send a second wave at you consisting of Auroran ninjas and Mercs. Once again a charged Fireball can do most of the work. Talk to Chesty again and you'll fight a pair of large Hobbes. After that are significantly weaker versions of Lt. Simmons and Saker, two early game bosses. Fireball can do all the work for you, but you should roll around a bit to avoid their attacks.
Once you defeat all the monsters, Chesty will become sad about you not wanting to become his Super Best Friend, and upon opening, you will receive , Gold and the Diamond of Sorrow. The Diamond of Sorrow is a piece of Chesty's very own heart, which you broke by deciding not to be his "Super best friend", and is worth , gold.
You will then end up back at Brightwood Tower, however, now at the age you were before completing The Spire quest. You also get a trophy named Son of Chesty , which is a small chest that is 4 star. Also, if you have positive purity, you will lose all previous marks of corruption upon completion of the quest, probably for ridding the world of your homicidal "Super Best Friend".
A book found in the school house in the snowglobe also relates to Myrtle's death. Also in the note left by Chesty at the tea party it says that We will meet again, super best friends always do. I hope we can be Super Best Friends. There's something I want to give you. Something I think you'll like. Chesty, your friendly chest. PS What are your hobbies?

Do you ever cut the legs off adventurers and see how long it takes them to crawl to what they think is safety but is actually a swamp filled with flesh-eating insects?
